Manufacturing, in general, is also on the decline in the USA for the last 2 years; so I would recommend being careful about the field that you opt for MS in. Anything that integrates mechanical and the computer has a great scope (mechatronics etc.). While fields like manufacturing will be difficult. Cost of educations is high without scholarships. Germany is good for automotive and manufacturing provided you are able to learn the language and be fluent. Work hard and do as many inter

Yes, you can opt for MS in US. There are 100s of options out there and answering your query based on the information provided by you would not be a good idea. Before you try to figure out what to study, go and explore the different fields by reading about them. Read or talk to professionals of engineering, management, etc. All fields and streams have a great of scope as long as you are passionate about it and perform well.

Hi, You have to be accepted by an university before applying for the visa. Get past the admission process first, check if you meet the requirements and qualify. Its alright to have some backlogs but how many of them have you got and what's your final percentage will be checked. Your overall profile, SOP, LORs internships, projects and how well you fit into the universities will be evaluated. Additionally a good GRE score will be required to be eligible for Masters.

Hi Akanshya, you will get options but not the highly ranked ones which prefer students with extremely good academics. However plenty of options will be available. Focus on your GRE, anything below 300 will hamper your chances. Additionally you should work on building a very good personal statement. The recommendation letters must be compelling too. Demonstrate your strengths, extracurricular activities, project work etc. and any other distinct point that you think the universities should know about you.
