Cut-off marks for M.Sc in Mathematics in General category from the Central University of Kerala is 162 for the year 2016. This means that if you have 162 marks or more in your CUCET exam, you will be eligible for admission to M.Sc in Mathematics. This cut-off is subject to change. Regards.

The Minimum Eligibility Criteria to apply for M.Sc. Mathematics is B.Sc. (Hons in Mathematics)/B.Sc/B.Tech with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. If there is an option of pursuing a dual degree with M.Sc. And B.Ed then you can go right ahead and pursue the course. However, as per an UGC act you will not be able to pursue two separate regular courses at the same time, unless the second course is a distance course from the same or different university. Regards.

Both have equal scopes and advantages. You can achieve great heights if you do Ph.D. in whatever you choose. Physics has mathematics embedded in it.
