The cutoff information varies from the respective department that you choose and the minimum criteria is 50% merit required to apply for any sort of course.
The admission process is based on your entrance exam
Selection criteria is based on graduation marks and entrance marks further they announce the merit list based on the department you've chosen.

Hello Astha, you can pursue M.Sc. in Microbiology at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University based on your degree merit, A minimum M.Sc Microbiology eligibility is to have a B.sc degree with a minimum of 50% or more from a recognized university to apply for the MSc Microbiology course. The course is divided into 4 semesters which cover different aspects of the programs including biostatistics, immunology, virology etc.

In order to get admission in Microbiology at Lady Brabourne college, kolkata there is a requirement of clearing an entrance exam along with scoring minimum 90% in Boards. The marks are calculated including 30% of boards marks in subjects of chemistry, maths and biology and 70% are taken from the entrance exam given.
