Medical microbiology deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites & viruses, and common infections such as skin/ respiratory/ urinary/ gastrointestinal/ standard, etc. We study the characteristics of pathogens, the mode of infection, and the growth of microorganisms in humans. Yes, you can. The minimum eligibility is to have 60% for the open category and a relaxation of 5% for the reserved category. But I can't tell you about the total intake of students.
