M.Sc applied microbiology has better options abroad as can apply for industrial jobs. M.Sc medical microbiology the only option is to do Phd which is long duration course and compete MD microbiology in medical colleges for jobs.

I would suggest you to first focus and prepare well to clear the pending arrear papers and get the maximum marks in that.
If you are done with, the refresh the papers, so that you can be strong in your core papers.
