I am sure MSW in HRD will be a good one for you, after your B.Com. One can work at community health centers, mental hospitals, schools or charitable trusts for mental health. You can even work for child welfare organizations where you can serve children who are neglected by parents or belong to the low-income families.

Yes, M.Sc applied psychology is different from MSc counseling psychology. After completing Counseling psychology, a person can get opportunities in counseling clinic only. After completing applied psychology, the person has many opportunities like, Clinical psychology, Sports psychology, Industrial/Organizational psychology and forensic psychology. The practical application include treating patients, in extreme cases prescription too; research on the psychological approach to human and animal behavior.

I would say that you will get the opportunities of placement, if you pursue B.A. Journalism Honors from Christ University, Bangalore. But, whether you will able to achieve that opportunity or not, it completely depends upon you. This university is good for two types of courses, one is management and one is fine arts.
