The tuition fees for MSc courses at NIT Raipur is INR 30,000,  and the tuition fees for MSc at NIT Patna  is INR 6.3 lakh. Conclusively,  the tuition fees of NIT Raipur are more affordable compared to NIT Patna. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing IIITs and NITs but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc. The fee amount mentioned is sourced from the official website/sanctioning body and is s

NIT Raipur offers a total number of 60 seats for MSc courses, and the course is offered in three specialisations- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The number of seats is equally divided among each MSc specialisation which means each speciaslaition has 20 seats. To get these seats, candidates must complete their BSc graduation and achieve relevant scores in IIT JAM.

NIT Raipur has an intake of 60 students for its  MSc courses. According to the seat resevration policy followed by the institute, certain seats are reserved for SC, ST, EWS and OBC-NCL categories. Lucknow University PG cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to several postgraduate courses, including MVA, MA, MCom, M.Ed, MTTM, MSc and MPH, among other courses. The last round cutoff ranged between 10.5 and 150, of which MVA in Stone Carving stands out as the most competitive course for the General AI category students. For MSc courses, the PGET cutoffs varied between 32 and 76. Among all the MSc specialsiation, M.Sc. in Anthropology was the most competitive for admission. Currently, NIT Raipur has not released the accurate commencement date of the MSc new session (2025). However, according to the information available on the official website of the university, the MSc classes for the previous batch (2024) commenced on August 13, 2024. Hence, it is expected that in 2025, classes may start on the same dates as the previous batch.
