IGNTU's M.Sc. minimum cutoff has been determined by the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). For finding exact cutoff for the year 2023, students can visit the official website of IGNTU as well as the CUET portal once the cut-offs will be revealed. The admissions generally will be on the basis of the CUET scores, after which students will be eligible for M.Sc programs with proper marks.

Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) provides better placement opportunities through M.Sc. as compared to those offered by B.Sc. This is mainly because M.Sc. courses are mostly focused and can provide career opportunities in research, development as well as in advanced academia. B Sc placements from IGNTU are more or less a miserable affair since the course offers a more general arena towards specific fields-while, M.Sc courses often match with industrial and research areas.
