JIPMER, Pondicherry offers twelve courses in its M.Sc program. The admission is made on the basis of marks secured in entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for admission to M.Sc at JIPMER, Pondicherry are JIPMER Nursing and JIPMER PG. Other than these, JIPMER admission to MD/ MS courses is based on INI CET scores. INI CET 2024 Counselling is ongoing for the January Session for admission to MD/ MS courses at JIPMER.

There is no specified lower range for minimum marks required for admission at JIPMER, Pondicherry. The cutoffs are subjective to change every year. However, as per JIPMER eligibility criteria 2024, students from general category and EWS are required to secure at least 50% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) are required to score 40% marks. The admission also includes evaluation of the marks secured in any entrance test.
