Eligibility criteria for M.Sc. The admission at M.Sc. level can either be merit-based, entrance exam-based, or merit and entrance exam-based depending upon the discipline applied for. In general, a candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, B.Sc. in the subject concerned, with a minimum percentage of marks (usually around 50-55%). Other eligibility criteria in terms of prerequisite subjects and academic performance are to be met by applicants. Admission guidelines are to be obtained from the official college website by the applicants.

Yes, Master of Science (MSc) subjects are generally more challenging than Bachelor of Science (BSc) subjects: Academic Achievement: A Master's degree requires a higher level of academic achievement than a Bachelor's degree. Coursework: A Master's degree requires additional coursework. Time and Effort: Postgraduate degrees tend to be more challenging than undergraduate ones. Self-Study: A Master's degree has a condensed timetable, less contact time, and more focus on self-study. Thesis: A Master's with a thesis is arguably the most difficult of all.

As you take MSc courses, you'll focus on a specific area of interest in detail. The coursework consists of individual modules in your chosen discipline, such as Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Economics. You'll also work on an independent dissertation project to graduate, which typically takes two years to complete.

In my opinion, a student with backlog in any BSc subject is not eligible to enrol for an MSc program. They first need to clear all the exams with passing marks required by their desired MSc college.
