The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the NET exam on the bi-yearly basis for those who want to make their career in Research and Lectureship field. The higher studies options after M.Sc zoology are:-
1. Master of Philosophy in Zoology
2. Master of Philosophy in Life Science
3. Ph.D. in Zoology
4. Ph.D. in Life Science - If you want to be a lecturer, you can appear for NET (National Eligibility Test) after your M.Sc. You could also try to get a government job for which entrance exams are available.
