M.Tech Admission Process

To get admission to M.Tech courses at the NITs in India, you must secure at least 60% marks in your BTech/B.E degree in a relevant engineering field. For reserved category candidates, the marks eligibility requirement is usually 55%. In addition, you must appear for and clear the GATE examination. You must secure very good marks and a decent rank in the GATE exam to be eligible for admission.After you successfully secure a decent rank in GATE, you will have to apply online and then appear for the CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) counselling process where you will be allotted a seat according to your rank at one of the NIT branches in India.
