Dear Ajay, M.Tech cannot be in a broader field, it is a specialization. If you have interest in Aerospace, then go for M.Tech in Thermal or Design engineering. As for the choice of college, there are many reputed private universities VIT, SRM, LPU, etc. Offering it. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of GATE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. No, you cannot. The eligibility to appear for GATE for a B.Sc student is to have an M.Sc degree.
Only BE/B.Tech and B.Arch students are directly eligible without post graduate degree.
