Last year the last closing rank at MIT Manipal for B.Tech CSE was 1819. Hence, the MUOET score above 140 is good enough for B.Tech CSE at Manipal Main campus.

You may get a job in ISRO, DRDO, ONGC, BHEL, HEL, etc. Also, doing M.Tech is not a small thing. Also, IIT Madras is also a renowned government institute and a top college in India. So, I will suggest you to pursue M.Tech from IIT-Madras rather than looking for a job.

the avearge placement record is good if not excellent and though not 100 percent the average salary offered is low and around 5 lpa. these are the facts you need to know.

The cutoff for mtech previous year was 22-23. You may give it a check on Shiksha's website to get detailed report. Unless you mention your marks I cant tell if you are having chances or not.
