Computer Science Engineering and UG Programs at LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Keeping in view the employment potential, in-depth knowledge is provided to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms.

They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Dear Abhishek, Yes, you will be able to apply for government jobs after completing full-time M.Tech in CSE from LPU as LPU doesn't offer part-time M.Tech. I highly recommend LPU for the CSE programme based on the following points:
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities.
