The selection criteria for Kerala University M.Tech courses vary depending on the choice of seat. For nonsponsored seats, students are inducted based on their GATE results. Those who have not qualified GATE can appear for the university's in-house entrance test. However, the preference is given to GATE students.For sponsored seats, students are evaluated based on aggregate marks at Bachelor level, work experience, and performance in interviews conducted by the Department Council.
