Yes, candidates with or without GATE score are eligible for RTU admission in MTech. However, candidates having MSc/ MCA seeking admission to certain RTU M.Tech programmes should have a valid GATE score.

Admission to M.Tech course is based on SEE score. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. MTech admissions are based on GATE exam. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the GATE scores.

To be eligible for M.Tech at VNR VJIET the candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for reserved category candidates. Admission to VNR M.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured by the candidate in GATE or TSPGECET.

For admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram M.Tech course, candidates must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate.
