M.Tech Eligibility

The COER University MTech eligibility criteria differs based on the specialisation. Listed below are the eligibility requirements to be fulfilled for each MTech course:Computer Science & Engineering: Candidates must have a graduate degree in BE/BTech with minimum 55% (general) or 50% (SC/ST)Mechanical Engineering: Students who have a graduate degree in BTech/BE or equivalent degree in relevant stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognised Institute are eligible to applyStrcutural Engineering: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognised university. Additionally, they should have obtained a valid score in GATE or other appropriate entrance examsElectrical Engineering: Candidates who have completed graduation under any relevant engineering stream, securing at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate, from a recognised university are eligible to apply

To be eligible for admission to the M.Tech in Dredging and Harbour Engineering at IMU Visakhapatnam, candidates must meet the following criteria:Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed an engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Naval Architecture, or any equivalent discipline.Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 60% marks is required. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, there is a relaxation of 5%, allowing them to qualify with 55% marks.Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by IMU.There is no upper age limit for applicants, but candidates must submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner during the verification process.
