M.Tech Eligibility

In order to pursue M.Tech at KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology (KPRIET) following eligibility criteria has to be satisfied: First of all, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or an equivalent qualification in any applicable field. Moreover, such undergraduate degree needs to originate from a recognised university with at least 50 percent aggregate score (45% for reserved categories). In addition, students have to clear either Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Anna University-conducted Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) are two additional entrance exams that candidates must pass. These test results are very important in the admissions process. For some specializations, it can be helpful to have relevant work experience in the engineering sector, however it is not necessarily required.
