Hai,
Placements for M.Tech are vast in both public and private sector. Nowadays, the trend of job opportunities are more in communication systems or in Data Analytics. Job opportunities in Private sector are huge for Data Scientist or Data Analyst positions. For this, you can go ahead with M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

I can only say that a job is not a bad choice too. But if you really want to go forward with your education and you really have that learning spark towards any field then you should pursue that first. If you really want to learn about things in a particular field then go ahead for that. Here, I can say that go ahead with M.Tech plan. A job is a thing which you can do after PG too.

Hello Pooja,
MS Ramaiah College has separate department of placements. This department takes keen interest in seeing that majority of the students are placed. They even provide training to the students to appear for the interview and clear it so that they are placed. However the information regarding placements after M.Tech or after B.Tech or for different branches of engineering is not readily available. For your benefit, I am attaching a link that will give you information about placements done at MSRIT:

Placements are good. See, it depends on the company, if they want a person for the research work then they will only hire M.Tech students and if they don't then they will not hire those students.

Placements: Amity has a great placement record and I am sure seniors and my batch members will have good placements, the percentage of students were placed at 80%, the highest salary offered 12 is LPA, the lowest salary offered is 4 LPA and the average salary offered is 7 LPA.
The companies are Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, etc.
Internship:
Yes, our college provides the internship. In our first year, internships were provided inside the campus in which all the students were given a topic by there faculty guide and they had to prepare a research paper on that.
