It is a very niche and narrow area of specialisation. You may get job with IPR law firms, MNC R&D Patent departments etc. Less Jobs are avail but jobs in field very high paying.

Most important thing is that after completing your m.tech you are eligible to become assistant professor in any engineering colleges. You can go for PhD or Research. You are also eligible to become scientist in research institute centers like CSIR, DRDO,isro etc
many key post in industry required master degree in engineering.

Yes you can do it but it only beneficial if you are in industry. If you want to do it do executive MBA instead of distance or part time or full time MBA. If you are in area related to academic or Research than ypu should go for PhD in you area of expertise.

Yes there is a good job opportunity available after M
Tech. You may go for industry or educational sector as a faculty. You may get a job in research laboratory as a scientist. For many key post in the firm master is required so it has lot of opportunities go for it.
