Since the OBC qualifying cutoff is 35, it would be impossible for your gaining an M.Tech seat using GATE scholarship in biotechnology. Nevertheless, without a GATE, you might still get enrolled in a few special institutes and through self-sponsored programs or entrance exams conducted on their behalf. It is probably sensible to search for other paths of becoming admitted or wait till next year to attempt another crack at GATE.

The VBSPU M.Tech application fee has not been disclosed. However, the registration fee for the PUCAT is determined based on the candidate's category. For unreserved and OBC candidates, the registration fee is INR 500. However, for SC/ST candidates, the fee is INR 250. This mentioned fee is required in order to register for the PUCAT entrance test.
