Yes, R.V. College of Engineering offers M.Tech courses for two years. The college offers several specialisations in M.Tech courses. In addition, to get admission into an M.Tech course, candidates are required to complete their BE/ BTech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 45 % for SC and ST category students.

As stats for year 2024 are not released officially, in year 2023, the cutoff for computer Science was AIR 611 for the general category, AIR 562 for OBC-NCL, and AIR 416 for SC/ST/PwD in their categories in GATE CCMT for NIT Allahabad.

Some IITs and NITs have offered self-sponsored seat M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and NIT Trichy are some of the prominent institutions that reserve seats for the candidates who are sponsored by their employers. NIT Calicut and NIT Silchar also have self-sponsored admissions. The seats are usually filled through GATE exam but some may not require candidates to take the exam, but they must have work experience in related fields.
