The cutoff of the M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Government College of Engineering, Karad, cannot be accessed online. However, for the undergraduate courses, the cutoff of MHT CET 2024 for the different disciplines of engineering ranged between 44.89 and 81.71 percentiles, with varying categories such as EWS. In the case of M.Tech., cutoffs vary according to the scores of GATE and reservation based on category. The M.Tech course offered by the college carries a total tuition fee of INR 1,68,985. Yes, NIT Uttarakhand follows the seat reservation policy as per the Government of India guidelines for M.Tech admissions. The reservation details are as follows:Scheduled Castes (SC): 15% of seats are reserved.Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% of seats are reserved.Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL): 27% of seats are reserved.Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10% of seats are reserved for candidates who do not fall under SC, ST, or OBC categories.Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5% of seats are reserved horizontally across all categories.

Yes, the candidates belonging to the underpriviliged section and seeking admission to NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech course are offered relaxation in the eligibility criteria. For general category students, the minimum eligibility criteria is set at 60% or 6.5 CGPA in a bachelor's degree. While for students belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category, the institute offers a 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Thus, candidates who belong to the aforementioned categories are eligible if they have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in a bachelor's degree.

In order to get admission to NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech course, students are required to take GATE. After GATE exam, they must appear for the CCMT counselling. It is a centralised counselling process conducted to allocate M.Tech seats. The regsitration fee for INR 3,500 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and INR 3,000 for SC/ST/PwD. For admission to self supporting seats, the institute conducts an in house interview prcoess. To be considered for this process, students must fill out the institute level application form. Lastly, all students who are offered admissions must complete the document verification and fee payment process.

Candidates who are willing to take admission to non sponsored NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech seat must apply and appear for the GATE exam. The steps to apply for GATE are as follows:1. Go to the GATE 2025 registration portal.2. Rgister as new candidate. Generate login credentials.3. Login using credentials generated in the last step.4. Fill out the application form and pay the application fees. The GATE application fees 2025 is INR 1,800 for general and INR 900 for female/SC/ST/PwD.5. Submit the form.
