Universities give admission based on scores obtained in entrance examinations. All the seats of B.Tech is filled based on JEE Main score, for BBA and B.Pharm you have to qualify CUET UG, to get admission in all the PG courses except M.Tech you should qualify CUET PG, and for M.Tech, admissions are given based on GATE or Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) score.

As per the T&P brochure 2023-24, the highest package grabbed during the 2023 placements was INR 52 LPA. Furthermore, the average package stood at INR 6.80 LPA. The total count of offers made during MMMUT Gorakhpur placements 2023 was 973. HCL Technologies, TCS, Wipro, and many other prominent companies visited the campus for hiring.
