The BC/MBC Scholarship at MIT Chennai is available for regular students with an income below INR 2 lakh. It can be obtained for the entire course duration, requiring a 1st Graduate Certificate for the 1st Graduate Scholarship. Applicants should not avail of any other scholarship, and eligibility starts from the 1st year, with the option for renewal.

It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your PG in aeronautical engineering. Normally speaking graduation in engineering in similar branch is the basic eligibility for admission in PG. Here, I would like to advise you to download the brochure from the portal of MIT and see for yourself what are the different criteria for admission in your fav PG course. Best wishes to you.

Hi,
Yes, your marks in class 12th board exams are enough to make you eligible for engineering courses. But, you need to appear in entrance exam to get a seat in this college. Best of luck.

Hello, Admissions in Tamilnadu are based on strict criteria which are given out by Anna University which controls and processes the complete admission system for admission to different engineering colleges in the state. I am attaching a link which will give you all the required information about this. Please go through this and decide for yourself if your son is really eligible or not. My reading tells me that he is not eligible for admission in any engineering college in Tamilnadu but please go through the link and satisfy yourself about this issue. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/university/anna-univers

Hello Krish,
Yes, it is indeed a good choice. CSE at MIT has great career prospects. You can have on-campus internships and placements. Many top companies like Google, Microsoft, ZOHO, etc. come for recruitment. The salary package is also good. You can get a good infrastructure and training as you have well-established labs and experienced faculty. You need to apply through TNEA counselling. All the best!
