MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. It was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. The college is known for the departments like Electronics and Instrumentation, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering. It also has strong alumni base. Few of the notable alumni are Dr. Abdul Kalam, Sujatha (Writer). So, all in all MIT is a great place to be in for Engineering.
The placement for CSE in Madras Institute of technology is good but it also had its bad years.
The companies that come in the placement for CSE are as follows:
ACC Cement | ACCENTURE | Amazon | Axis Bank | CTS | Goldman Sa

Madras Institute of Technology is affiliated to Anna University which is known for its BE course in aeronautical engineering and is placed among the top colleges in India for aeronautical engineering.
MIT is a place which enables you to become what you aspire to become in your life. The college has limited number of seats in each department which helps professes to concentrate more on each student the exams are purely based on testing the concepts which the students have learnt from the lectures rather than usual theory paper apart from studies college offers various classes to enhance our skills like foreign languages dance and sports

Both the colleges are good for engineering and they have good reputation too but I would opt for MIT as it has better brand name being a campus of Anna University (University of Departments of Anna University). The placements for CSE are really huge and tech giants like Amazon, visit the campus every year and offer packages more than 20 LPA.
I won't say SSN because it is a self-financing college under Anna University. So it is better to opt for government aided colleges like PSG, Coimbatore Institute of Technology and Thiagrajar, Madurai than SSN.

Hello Siva,
Madras Institute of Technology (MIT-Chennai) is one of the top institutions in India and it is one of the four campuses of Anna University. The placements will be too good as they are highly reputed. It is very famous and a demanded institution for aeronautical engineering (BE). So you may opt for it.

Hello Shivam,
The admissions into Anna University and its affiliated colleges is based on your board exam marks only, as there is no separate entrance exam.
You need to apply for the single window counselling under Anna University at www.annauniv.edu from other state portal.
All the best.
