Hi Ashwani,
The way to get admission at Madras Institute of Technology is through the single window counselling under Anna University.
You can apply for counselling through www.annauniv.edu (TNEA 2017) and the last date for registration is may 31. the last date for submission is June 3.
The counselling starts from June 27.
You should have scored a cut off marks of atleast 190-195 to get a seat there. and yes your caste also plays a role.
If you are from Tamil Nadu, then, you will be called earlier. if you are from the other state, then you need to submit the nativity certificate.

You can get admission on the basis of JEE Mains marks or on the basis of state engineering colleges entrance examination or through management quota.

Obviously, yes. You can take admission in any college all over India.For that you will have to appear in JEE exam & get good marks & will have to appear in counselling conducted by college.

Malviya National Institute of Technology is the best option after BITS-Pilani for doing B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in Rajasthan. Admission is based on JEE Mains score.

There are following options available after doing BTech Aeronautical Engineering:
(a) Job: You can seek job in Public Sector units such as HAL, DRDO, ISRO, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Airlines as maintenance engineer, Aircraft manufacturing companies and it's ancillaries, R&D, teaching Institute, IT companies.
(b) You can appear for GATE or GRE to do MTech or MS respectively.
(c) You can appear for MBA entrance exams to seek admission in MBA.
Each option had its pros and cons. You can choose any one of the options as per your personal conditions and interests.

Hello Bhanu,
In Tamil Nadu, admissions to engineering are through CET conducted by Anna University. It is requested that the criterias be downloaded on your laptop on studied. Fee are different in different colleges and can vary from 50K to few lakhs.

Cut-offs vary year after year, hence you need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
