Madras Medical College dates back to 1664 when it was founded as the Government General Hospital to treat the sick soldiers of the East India Company. In 1857 it got Affiliated to University of Madras
Its Department of Geriatric Medicine was established in April 1978 by Dr. V. S. Natarajan MD with the aim of providing comprehensive health care to senior citizens. Hi Poojashree! Eligibility for M.Pharma in Madras Medical College Chennai is B.Pharma with 50% aggregate percentage. Admission is based on marks in entrance scaled down to a minimum of 90 and experience weightage up to 10 marks in total otherwise marks in the qualifying examination + marks in the entrance followed by counselling.
