Madras Medical College has a higher cut off, but if you can make it through, it will be the better option. It has been ranked higher and also has lower fees. It is ranked 15th among the top Medical colleges of India for the year 2018, whereas the Bangalore Medical College is ranked 17th.

It's a very good medical college in private sector. In fact it was the best private medical college in North India and it has maintained its reputation somewhat. Campus is like living in a resort surrounded with natural beauty.

Established in 1853, Madras Medical College is the third the oldest medical college in the country after Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry and Calcutta Medical College. The red brick building has been classified as a Grade A Heritage Building. Former CM Karunanidhi made the foundation for a new campus. The new campus was built on what was previously a prison campus. The college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. It has now 9 affiliated hospitals and colleges. The cut-off varies every year according to the number of students applying for examination and number of seats available. It would be advisable that you get in touch with college authorities/official page directly for accurate cut-off.
