The placement percentage for BSc at Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education are not too good but not bad either. The students can expect a placement percentage of 60% by the trends of the previous few years with average package being a moderately amount of 2 lakh.

The fee structure for BSc programs at MKUDDE, madurai are very low. The 3-Year BSc programme at this institute costs around 21,000 as tution fee. With 7,000 per year.The fee structure may slightly vary based on the specialisation. But doesn't vary too drastically.MKUDDE Madurai offers several BSc programmes through its Directorate of Distance Education. The BSc programmes offered are BSc Botany, BSc Chemistry, BSc Computer Science, BSc Microbiology, BSc Physics, BSc Psychology, BSc Zoology, BSc Mathematics, and BSc Visual Communication.

The Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education like many Universities have got mixed reviews fron the students studying there. Although the institute is ranked 94th among universities in India. It a accredited with 'A' rating in NAAC. The students have enjoyed a low fee structure and wider resources for study through website and on-campus facilities. Some students have pointed out the unsatisfactory semester exam procedure.

The Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education and Annamalai university are both regarded quite good among the students.The MKUDDE, Madurai is accredited 'A' category while the Annamalai university is accredited with 'A+'.In NIRF, MKUDDE is ranked 94th among universities whereas Annamalai is not mentioned in the rankings. It is better for the students to compare the colleges based on their preferred areas of interest and compare them before joining any institution.
