For Magadh University UG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). The university accepts students on a merit basis for its UG courses, hence, Class 12 marks are certainly enough for admission into the university. For PG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to have a graduation degree from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Magadh University does not accept direct admissions for any of its courses. In order to get into the programme of choice, students must meet the admission criteria as prescribed by the university. Admission to the courses at MU Gaya are done on either merit basis or entrance exam scores. As admission to most of the courses are done on merit basis, students need not appear for any entrance exam. It is important that applicants satisfy the basic eligibility before applying. MBA is one of the top courses of College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Magadh University. Students pursuing MBA from the college are open to placements. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package of INR 3 LPA was offered to PG (2-year) students. A total of 197 students were placed from PG two-year courses.
