Yes, you can apply for the MAH CET exam. Eligibility Criteria for MAH CET 2023: Applicant must be an Indian citizen/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/Non-Resident Indian (NRI) student. Students from other states will be eligible to apply for the exam and they also need to fulfill the non-local eligibility clauses as laid down by norms of the State Government. CAP stands for "Centralized Admission Process."
DTE begins CAP rounds for admission after the CET results, which are usually released in May. You can look at the 2021 schedule to get a rough idea of how it will be in 2022. State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra.

Non-CAP seats are the ones that are allotted internally by the institute and the Directorate Of Technical Education is not involved in the allotment of any of the seats falling in this category. Cutoffs for Non-CAP seats are decided by the college and a college-specific application form is required to get into the admission process. After that, a merit list is published and seats are allotted on the basis of merit. Your acknowledgment form after admission explicitly mentions the type of admission and thus you might miss out on some scholarships/schemes by the government as many of them are only for candidates who have undergone the CAP

The candidates who have applied for MHT CET counselling 2022 can check their status of seat allotment of MHT CET round 1 at cetcell. Mahacet. Org. However, accepting the offered seat by the candidate and reporting to the allotted college will be allowed from November 1 to 3. After the seat allotment in CET, candidates will have to select a new course or college for further round during option entry. If a higher seat is allocated in the next round of KCET seat allotment 2022, then the previously allotted seat shall be cancelled.
