There are various financial assistance scheme provided at Maharaja Surajmal Institue of Technology. EWS Scheme grant financial support to the students belonging to EWS. The maximum limit is Rs 50,000 per academic session.  Merit cum Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme under which the Delhi Higher Education Trust through DHE will fully or partially reimburse the tution fees paid by the meritorious students.

There are 4 courses of Btech at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. For B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering the seat intake is 180 and 60 for the second shift. For Btech in Information Technology the seat intake is 120 and 60 for the second shift. For B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering it is 120 and for Electrical and electronics the seat intake is 60
