The board officials conduct HSC exam in two shifts : morning shift from 11am to 2.10 pm and evening shift from 3pm to 6.10pm. The timings for all streams : Science, Commerce, Arts and general remains the same. All the students appearing for their board examination should reach their respective centers well before time to avoid unnecessary chaos.

A student will have to complete the paper within 3 hours. Earlier student was given 10 minutes extra time to read the question paper. But from now onwards, HSC student will be provided with an extra 10 minute at the end of the paper to complete it.Students must focus on completing their Maharashtra 12th syllabus 2025 properly as thorough preparation will prepare them to answer the questions in one go without wasting much time on thinking what to write. Along with the syllabus, students must also be aware of the exam pattern and solve the previous years' question papers.

Yes, you can give improvement tests in only two disciplines, such as Physics and Biology, if you desire to improve your grades in those areas. Most school boards, including CBSE, allow students to take improvement tests in specified subjects within a year of taking the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam. This allows you to focus primarily on improving your results in these courses rather than retaking all of your tests. It is critical to review the precise guidelines and dates supplied by your examination board to ensure that you meet all of the requirements for registering and taking the improvement examinations.
