The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER), Talegaon requires applicants to have completed their MBBS degree from an accredited medical college with approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI) in order to be eligible for the MD program. Additionally, they had to have finished the required one-year rotating internship. To be eligible for postgraduate medical admissions in India, candidates must pass the national level NEET-PG entrance test. The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research Talegaon requires an MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate that meets the requirements of the NMC Act of 2019 and the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956, both of which have been abolished, in order for a candidate to be eligible for an MD. The candidate also has to possess an interim or permanent MBBS registration certificate from the previous Medical Council of India, the NMC, or the State Medical Council. The applicant must have completed their internship within the last year or be on schedule to do so by the latest on March 31, 2023.
