National labour unions have been demanding a national minimum wage of Rs.15,000 per month for the past three to four years. And now the Seventh Pay Commission has suggested Rs.18,000 per month minimum wage for government employees.

You can expect company to offer you post varying from a trainee to entry level automation engineer/consultant which depends on your knowledge, cognitive as well as communication skills. You can also expect jobs in streamline mechanical jobs such as design engineer or can bag post which requires mechatronics engineer. The course is same as that of mechanical engineering only difference is that you will be taught extra subjects based on robotics and automation.
