The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Aurangabad was established in 2017 and is still rapidly establishing its standing in the legal education field. However, MNLU Aurangabad is not as of now listed among the top National Law Universities in India. Owing to NIRF 2024 rankings, other campuses such as MNLU Mumbai and Nagpur have better rankings while MNLU Aurangabad is still growing.MNLU Aurangabad is a good law school, however, taking into account its relatively young establishment and developing infrastructure, it may not be the most suitable option for a law school in Aurangabad.

The university may provide admission to MNLU Aurangabad through the passing the CLAT or any other related test or by writing an entrance examination of the university. This is mainly determined by the number of students, performance in the examination, course available and cutoff marks.
