Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for postgraduate medical and dental courses offered in the state under the 50% State Quota seats.

Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, they will have to present the original documents.

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats by the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling authority, DTE Maharashtra. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats. In case a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she can opt for seat upgradation.

Yes, it is possible to participate in both Maharashtra NEET PG counselling as well as the national-level NEET PG or NEET MDS counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). However, in case a candidate is allotted a seat in either of the counsellings and he/she accepts the seat by institute reporting and document verification, then that candidate will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling or the other counselling type. Hence, candidates must carefully assess the admission options and then take the final decision.

Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Maharashtra NEET PG, which is the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.

For the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process, the entrance exams which are accepted are NEET PG and NEET MDS. Candidates must ensure that they qualify for the exam as per the cutoff scores released by the exam authorities, in order to be eligible for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra released the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling dates for 2024 on September 27, 2024. The last date of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling registration for Round 1 was October 16, 2024, and the registration fee had to be paid by October 17, 2024. While there is no option to register in the second round, the registration or application window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 3 will be open from January 4 to January 6, 2025. Generally, the last date of Maharashtra NEET PG registration is scheduled three to four days of the commencement of the registration process.
