D.Y. Patil International University, which is affordable and offers AI and ML MCA specialisation with a fee structure of roughly 2.4 Lacs for the entire course can be opted for. Further, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology can be regarded as another good option to consider with fees around 3.1 lakh. Overall, these colleges are well valued for placement opportunities and educational quality. In addition, SPPU is ranked very high, and the fees are very competitive, so it would be a good option for an MCA in Pune.

In terms of placements, VIT Vellore's IT programme normally surpasses that of Symbiosis Pune's CSE program. For the year 2024, VIT Vellore reported an average package of 9.9 LPA and a the highest package of 88 LPA and saw participation from 867 recruiters, which included top companies like Amazon and Microsoft12. On the other hand, Symbiosis Pune has a strong placement record but usually offers lower average packages compared to VIT.
