Admissions is based on merit as per the grades/marks obtained in qualifying examination, provided the student meets the eligibility requirements.you can get direct admission, but the candidates should have passed with minimum 50% marks in 10+2 Examination with at least five subjects from a recognised Board or University.

Teachers here are very helpful, highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable. Teaching quality is poor for some subjects like biochemistry and community medicine, but it is excellent in other subjects. Overall, it is good.

The education system and faculty of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan are excellent. The college is located in the hills so the environment and culture of the campus are decent. However, the other facilities like sports, cultural activities and infrastructure is also good. It's a good place from the educational point of view as there are no distractions in the campus.
