Yes, the seat reservations at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan is available like all other university, DSPMU has also the seat reservation system. For example B.Sc Nursing is a course in which 85% of its seats are reserved for the General category. For NRI candidates, the remaining 15% of seats are reserved.

Yes, admissions in Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan are open in many courses, if you want to take admission then you have to follow admission process. Like if you want to take admission in MBBS then Candidates must apply, appear for NEET and qualify it. Candidates must fill the application form on the website of the university. Merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in NEET. Selected candidates must appear for the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee.

The hostel fees at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan is 24000 for male and female both have the same fee.The hostels are in the campus and not far away from the college. The students are accommodation is on 2 students and 1 room basis. Each one of is has to share or room with 1 student. Hostel rooms are neat and clean, hygiene is pretty well maintained, house keepers daily comes in the room to clean. There are 2 seater rooms.

The mess food quality of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan is acceptable, test of mess food is good and menu chart is also good it provides variety of food items on weekly basis and fully air condition meets. The mess food items are totally vegetarian, and provides gives milk, curd, paneer etc., Hostel and mess is approximately 96000 per annum.

It indicates the performance of a student since his entry into the course including the current semester. CGPA is the weighted average of all the grades awarded to a student since his entry into the University up to and including the latest Semester and computed as follows Total Grade Points earned since his entry divide by total credits. Equivalent to the letter grade obtained by the candidate in the Course.
