MDSU admission process begin with an online application process. Candidates must visit the official website to apply for their desired UG/ PG courses. Admissions to most of the courses is done based on merit scores of previous qualifying exams. Except for B.Ed and M.Ed courses. To get admission to these couses, candidates have to qualify for PTET and MTET, respectively. Based on the performance of candidates in all selection rounds, the university releases merit list in various rouds.

No, it is not tough to secure a seat in LLM at MDSU. Candidates who are seeking to pursue this course from MDSU must focus on fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for the course. Only candidates having a Bachelor's degree with minimum 55% aggregate in LLB or PG Diploma in Law can be shortlisted for the course. To get a seat at MDSU MA course, candidates have to pass Class 12 with minimum 48% aggregate. The seat intake for MA is 5,828, including the campus and affiliated colleges. Candidates are offered direct admission based on the scores of last qualifying exam. Interested candidates can apply on the official website by submitting the scorecard of the previous education.

No, there is no entrance exam required for admission to LLM course at MDSU. Admission to a two-year LLM course is entirely merit-based.
