I don't know the ranking of Mahindra University, Hyderabad but I can share the same for LPU as I did my MBA from there and know LPU and its ranking well.
LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees.
Ranking:
1. Ranked 1st for Focus on Affordable and clean energy in India
2. Ranked 2nd for Decent Work and Economic Growth in India
3. LPU has been ranked among the top institutions in India for many of its disciplines by NIR

I can't tell you fixed marks require to get your dream college, it depends on many conditions and varies from year to year .Basically if you have qualified jee mains it doesn't mean that surely you will get a college it depends on no.seats,your marks ,your category etc those things should be taken consideration.so it's my advice not to totally depends on jee try for some other exams.This is my perspective currently I am in Nit but i have also given many others exams ,to be in safe side.
