Yes, you may apply for some private colleges in your state. Don't you worry about your 12th score. You may get good private colleges with this percentage also.

Hi Pranav,
Yes, this institute accepts NRI students. However, admission is based on JEE Mains score. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

Here, at this college, you get admission based on who apply and appear for counselling but you need to qualify JEE Mains as in OC category cut-off marks, so as to accept your application. And for scholarship, if you are in the top 12 of a branch (for the first year, you have join the top 12 which are shortlisted based on JEE score, the following years will be shortlisted based your CGPA of previous year), who have joined, then you can get 1-1.5 lakhs scholarship per year.

This is a private college. So, no need to worry about category, and also in this college, they accept applications who are qualified in JEE Mains (i.e. he/she should qualify according to OC category cut-off) as per the year, as of this year is around 74. So, if you cross this year cut-off, you may get a seat and if you are above 120, you will get CSE for sure. And, I can't guarantee because it's based on the people who apply and you need to qualify JEE Mains to apply.

Yes, there are full chances of getting CSE in NITs. You must have to participate in counselling of JEE. Only after counselling, we will get to know about fees concession.

No, this college's intake is only through merit basis over JEE & SAT. This college has brightest minds of India, so you need to qualify JEE Mains. Else, you need to score above 2000/2400 in SAT. As you said I think, you did not qualify for JEE Mains, then you are not eligible to get admission in this college through management quota.

His JEE Mains marks are very less but he can try.
If seats are available, he might get admission.
