3. Assist as much as possible- The best way to learn is to assist an established makeup artist.
4. Stock up with your favorite high-street brands- Blunder advises: Starting your kit can be really expensive.
5. Stay professional- Be a good listener, pay attention and be open to any and all looks but know when to add in your professional opinion.
6. Do your research- Visual references are always a good idea.
7. Always ask permission and respect privacy.

Makeup is a practical skill that requires you to have proper guidance. To become a makeup artist, you can either take Certificate or Diploma courses to learn the art of doing perfect makeup. There are many courses available that you can pursue with a minimum education requirement. You can do these courses just after 10th or 12th grade.
