Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility and admission requirements of Beautician and Makeup courses as offered at the beauty institutes as under: Course LevelEligibility Criteria Short-term/ advanced/ professional certificate courses Candidates should have passed at least class 10th or equivalent qualifying examination.For advanced short-term courses, candidates should have completed a basic course or relevant subject.UG and PG Diploma courses For UG Diploma Candidates should have passed at least class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination.Those who have completed certificate courses after class 10th or equivalent qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for Diploma courses.For PG Diploma Candidates should have completed class 12th and a bachelor's degree in any stream Graduation coursesCandidates should have completed an advanced Diploma from a recognised beauty and makeup institute. Candidates should have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board of education Master coursesCandidates should have completed a bachelor's degree with relevant subjects from a recognised beauty instituteCandidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in any stream with an advanced or basic course in Makeup and Beauty.

Various courses are offered in Beautician and Makeup, providing candidates with the opportunity to acquire essential skills. These include:Short-term certificates in Beautician and Makeup (ranging from two weeks to three months).Advanced or Professional certificates in Beautician and Makeup (with a duration of two weeks to six months).Undergraduate Diplomas in Beautician and Makeup (lasting from 3 to 12 months).Bachelor's Degrees in Beautician and Makeup (with a duration of three to four years).Master's Degrees in Beautician and Makeup (a two-year program).Postgraduate Diplomas in Beautician and Makeup (ranging from six months to one year).
