Lovely Professional University (LPU), situated in Phagwara, in Punjab, India was established in 2005 and started welcoming students in 2006. The vast campus is spread over 600 acres and it houses over 30,000 students annually, making it the largest student campus in India. There are around 400 courses for students on offer, within a variety of faculty members, including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. All courses at LPU are taught in English so it is required that all students applying for admission should have strong reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the English Language. Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries.
