Candidates need to complete BDS degree from an institution/ university recognised by the Dental Council of India for MDS scholarship. The award ofscholarship for the subsequent years is the same as given, at the time of admission in the first year. Scholarship is extended for the subsequent year only to those students who qualifies in the year-end examinationsas per NMC.

No, NEET is the mandatory exam for admission to Manipal College of Dental Sciences BDS programme. Aspirants are first required to qualify NEET and then appear for counselling and seat allotment through MCC. NEET exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. NEET includes 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted.
