Yes, you can take admission at Manipal Institute of communication with a 70 percent in Class 12. Although the minimum Class 12  percentage required to take admission is 45 percent. But you cannot take admission by only Class 12 score. An entrance exam which is MET (Manipal entrance test) is to be cleared. This entrance test is conducted by the Institute itself. The student need to have a valid score in the above mentioned entrance exam and the student must quality in the cutoff also. The cutoff will be released according to the applications and seat intake. The student have to qualify in the entrance exam as well as in the cutoff in order to get the admission. 

At Manipal Institute of communication, M.A. has better placement than B.Sc. This is because MA is a PG course and PG courses have better placements than UG courses. The salary packages of PG courses are also better. In the 2022 placement drive, the median package offered to PG students was 7 LPA and UG students were offered 3.5 LPA  average package. The Masters students have a better knowledge than the UG students because of internships etc. But for doing MA, a graduation degree with minimum 45 perfect is required. The top recruiters of both the institutions are almost same but the difference is in the placement packages and ratios. the highest package offered at Manipal Institute of communication is 13 LPA and 3.5LPA is the average. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed. The placement packages data and ratio is not mentioned by the NISCORT media college but according to the review of students, the placement packages are not too high. So in terms of placements, Manipal Institute is better. 

Many good companies like Times group, India Today, CNN, Amazon, BBC were the top recruiters for the placement drive at Manipal Institute of communication. Many other good companies other than those stated above were also included. The placement packages offered by these companies were also good. 13 LPA was the highest package which was offerd to the students. The average package of UG and PG courses were 3.5LPA and 7LPA respectively. A good ratio of students got placed with almost 80 percent of students getting placement. So overall the placement of this Institute is good. The final admission choice should be made by not only seeing the placement but other factors like faculty, infrastructure, internships also.
